I just love youtube. Can't help it. If I'm in a bad mood, I'll go on there looking for a laugh or just something fun to cheer me up. If I'm in a good mood (why don't good and mood rhyme? It's weird I tellya) it's great too. I'm not exactly sure what it's like if I'm in a prozac mood, but it's probably great then too. Anyway, I'm here to share some of my favorites with you, and it's my hope that some of you will share yours as well. Some of my links will be old hat to regular youtubers, but hopefully we will also have some that not everyone has seen. All I ask is that you post a working link and a brief description of what it is. You can post music, sports, bloopers, pranks, skits... just about anything you want. Please please please don't post any links to nudity or porn of any type, and if there is profanity, place this (WARNING, THIS VIDEO CONTAINS PROFANITY) before the link to warn off anyone who might be offended. Also no hateful videos toward any race, religion, or sexual preference. It could get you banned from sportsline. And please, no politics. Just fun stuff.
Whew. I'm glad that part is over. Here are my 1st three vids. I picked them because they are all very different styles, not necessarily my 3 favorites, but they are up there. The 1st is simply called "Blood" The little boy in the video thinks his brother is bleeding and it freaks him out. The next one is a skit called "David Blaine Street Magic part 1." It's quite strange but quite funny in my opinion. The best of youtubeLOL Gator.... I know what you mean!! And now for a video I watch every Christmas season. :) I'm a huge Trans-Siberian Orchestra fan... not only do I find the song to be amazing, but I love the Christmas lights set to music. Even if it is computer generated. :)

The best of youtubeI haven't spent much time digging through youtube this past week. Work, weather and Sims have kept me busy! However... my son came by for dinner tonite and said that his favorite Christmas song right now is Billy Mac singing Christmas is All Around. If you haven't had the chance to see Love Actually.... do it! I might be a chick, and I might like chick flicks.... but every man I know that has seen the movie has enjoyed it. Okay, I don't know if any of you.... that is if anyone other than Dawnee, Buc and I are still looking at this blog... have ever seen speed painting on youtube, but I find it pretty darn cool. The best of youtubeLOL!!! Why does that video make me think of the scene in "American Pie" with Jason Biggs and Shannon Elizabeth? I guess the good thing for the guys in the video is that they don't have a full blown audience (get it? Full blown. I've got a million of 'em I tellz yas).

The best of youtubeIsn't YouTube great. I was driving around today listening to the Christmas music station and I started to wax nostalgic about my younger days. Back when I was in highschool, the local rock station would always play a spoof of Ozzy Osbourne's "Iron Man" called "I am Santa Claus." It was the funniest damn Christmas song I've ever heard. So when I got home, I got to thinking, you know, I should check out YouTube, and sure enough: Leave him cookies and beer, he'll be back to your house first next year! Merry Christmas, all. |
